Hammond’s Candies has been making delicious candies in Denver since 1920 and they still do it the old-fashioned way…in small batches. The local candy company offers FREE 30-minute factory tours from Monday through Friday. The sugar-filled experience is a great way to entertain the entire family. The tour shows the candy makers mixing, pouring and hand-pulling a variety of sweets, including oversize candy canes, ribbon candy, lollipops and more. And, of course, everyone gets a FREE sweet treat at the conclusion of the tour. Sweet!
The complimentary half-hour tours are offered Monday to Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
For now, they’re closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Plus, there is a limit of 10 people per tour. Masks and maintaining proper spacing are required.
