Shakespeare in the Wild is back this summer with “Romeo & Juliet” on August 15 to 31, 2025. This timeless story of young love and feuding families unfolds under the summer sky in a playful, accessible production fit for the whole family. Performances are free and held outdoors at DeKoevend Park at Goodson Rec Center in Centennial. No reservations are required, but RSVP via their website is encouraged for updates on weather or location changes.
Audiences are encouraged to bring a blanket, a picnic, and the whole family. (People are welcome to bring chairs if they require them.)
Thursday evening performances will be held indoors at a nearby accessible location (6707 Vine St. in Centennial) to welcome more community members.
The performance area is 900 feet from ADA parking. A paved path leads (400 ft) to a dirt path (500 ft) to the grass seating area. There will be one golf cart to help transport those who need it to that seating area.
