Congratulations to our winner Janay B.! This giveaway is not sponsored or affiliated with Denver Film and/or Red Rocks. Experiencing Red Rocks is a rite of passage if you live in (or visit) Colorado. The amphitheater has become an iconic venue for both fans and artists! And one of the attraction’s most popular summertime events is “Film On The Rocks”. The final show (sold out!) for the 2026 season is this Monday, August 10, 2026. And you could be going!

Family 4-Pack Ticket Giveaway

Our team of bargain hunters has four (4) extra general admission tickets to give to one lucky MHOTC reader.

The tickets are for Film On The Rocks: Jurassic Park on Monday, August 10, 2026. The show is sold out! 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with pre-show entertainment taking the stage at 7 p.m., followed by the film presentation at 8:30 p.m. 

To enter, just leave a comment below and tell us your family’s favorite frugal summertime activity or event in the Mile High City. 

You must be a Colorado resident and also a MHOTC subscriber. (If you don’t already subscribe to our daily e-newsletter, sign-up here. It’s a must for every bargain hunter in Colorado!)

The deadline to enter is Sunday, August 9, 2026 at noon. One winner will be chosen at random and contacted via e-mail.

    Haven’t been forever to Movies @ Red Rocks since it got to be too expensive, so would love this opportunity especially since Jurassic Park is one of our all time favs!

    Our favorite things to do during the summer are visiting different splash grounds and going to matinees.

    Going to see a Movie on the Rocks has been on our wish list, but we’ve never made it. This would be a great opportunity.

    family with five kids and the favorite thing to do in the summer is go to Franklin Pool. The local swimming hole does a great job celebrating 4th of July and the end of summer.

    Our family goes fishing up in the mountain to cool down and picnic. It is always a low cost and high fun activity we can all enjoy. ice creams on the way back to town is another treat we like to pair with our mountain trips.

    A number of years ago, we went to Film on the Rocks to see the original Twister movie. We dressed like Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton and the kids dressed like cows. It was a blast.

    To me family is everything. When my parents passed away we keep the traditions going and pass it down theu generations. We do alot of outdoor activities that include camping, skiing, hiking, movies and jyst enjoying our life as a family.
