There really are winners — Bryan’s friend won one of the Flyaway College Championship Packages from a mail-in entry! It’s time to get in the game! That is, Safeway’s Game Time Rewards giveaway. Customers have the chance to win lots of fantastic prizes, including cash prizes, gift cards, college scholarships, football tickets and more. The more you shop, the more chances you have to win, including a weekly cash prize of $1,000.
No uniform need to get in the game, just register to play through your Safeway Just For U account and online at GetInTheRewards.com. The game runs from August 15 to November 22.
To play, simply purchase select products to earn points every week. (For faster play, earn 2x or 4x game points on bonus products, which will be highlighted in the weekly ad.) For a full list of participating products, click here.
Every participating product purchased earns one point. Your goal is to score 25 points. For every 25 points, you will automatically receive a one-time use code at check out (via a print out.) Then, use your code to enter for prizes online. For a full review of the prizes available, click here.
Don’t worry, the points are cumulative, so, if you don’t score enough points in one week, you still have the chance to earn entries over the duration of the game.
The easiest way to participate is to play for the weekly cash prize of $1,000. You must register (only once for the duration of the game) for the weekly prize via the Safeway app.
Look under your Just For U account. Then, check under “Special Offers” and add the Game Time Rewards offer. Now, you’re ready to play!
To automatically be entered for the weekly cash prize, purchase 10 participating products in any given sales week (Wednesday through the following Tuesday.) And, yes, you can earn more than one entry each week!
For every 10 qualifying products purchased during the week, customers will earn an entry — with no limit.
