How well do you know the history of Parker? Find out and test yourself during Parker Quest on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Explore the town of Parker’s history on this self-paced walking tour of the downtown area. The journey begins and ends at O’Brien Park in Downtown Parker between 10 a.m. and noon.
Leave your car at O’Brien Park and check in at the gazebo to make sure you’ve downloaded the “Historic Parker, From Stage Stop to Pioneer Town” walking app (free) on your phone or tablet.
Then travel to the many interesting historic locations hidden around Mainstreet and connecting streets.
Volunteers will be on-hand to provide additional information and to answer questions.
Meet costumed characters and hunt for answers to historical questions so you can enter the prize drawing.
Children welcome, this is a great learning opportunity!
This event is FREE and appropriate for all ages.
