Gobble! Gobble! Operation FreeBird is Saturday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Adams County Sheriff’s Foundation, with the generous assistance of the Adams County business community, is providing everything needed for a Thanksgiving meal for those in need, during the holiday season. This year, the community event is being held indoors at The Denver Mart (451 E. 58th Ave.) in Denver.
In addition, multiple service agencies will be available for dental screenings, flu shots, housing & food assistance, veterans services and mental health resources. Families will enjoy displays, demonstrations, food, fun and music.
