Correction: $16 Tickets at Museum of Illusions. No Deal

POSTED BY
Laura

Monday night the Museum of Illusions PR rep informed us that the $16 tickets were actually only for children. Had we be given the correct info initially, we would NOT have published the deal (which isn’t a deal). We at MHOTC apologize for any inconvenience. The Museum of Illusions Denver is celebrating 16th Street’s grand opening with a special ticket promotion on Saturday, October 4, 2025. For one day only, guests can explore mind-bending exhibits and interactive experiences for just $16 per ticket (normally $25+). It’s the perfect chance to step into Denver’s most eye-popping attraction at a fraction of the price.

The unique concept offers all age groups an interactive experience where over 80 visual and educational exhibits play tricks on the minds of visitors and show them the exciting science behind illusions.

At the 16th Street location, visitors can enjoy Denver-specific attractions like appearing upside down on an RTD train, scaling a historic Denver façade and encountering a mesmerizing Rocky Mountain skier who can’t take her eyes off museum guests.

Throughout the museum, illusion experts explain the science behind the illusions and assist with photography.

The average time spent in the museum is about 45-60 minutes. The museum is self-guided which allows guests to engage with the exhibits at their own pace.

You can purchase tickets for Museum of Illusions Denver here. Just be sure to choose October 4 and the $16 tickets for general admission appear.

Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

951 16th Street Mall, Denver.

Thanks Laura, but Oct 4 is a Saturday, not a Friday, and there is no way online to get the discount or even confirm that it is real.

Brian. Thanks for the catch. The Museum’s press release said Friday, but you are correct and it is actually Saturday. If you click on Buy Tickets and choose Oct. 4, the $16 price appears. – LD

Normal regular ticket pricing is $25+ not $20-$24

Thank you for your kind response to the inaccuracies. I appreciate how hard MHOTC works to get the details correct and help create a positive experience.
