If you thought Zach Cregger’s film Barbarian was scary and unforgettable, just wait until you see his next film Weapons. Bigger, weirder and more savage, Weapons follows the story of the strange disappearance of 17 third graders from the nice, anywhere town of Maybrook. How could an entire class of kids wake up at 2:17 a.m. and just disappear into the night?
Without anyone knowing anything? A community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.
The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.
MHOTC readers can attend an advance screening of Weapons on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 7 p.m. at the UA Colorado Center Stadium 9.
