Due to popular demand (or maybe just to see if we could do it), we have created a Mile High on the Cheap Facebook Group. While we always encourage you to submit your events for publication on the website, this new Group is another way to spread the word about those that somehow escape our attention, are outside our price-point, last-minute or just aren’t quite right for our calendar.
Anyone can join our new Facebook Community and we encourage you to do so. We’re a bit new at this FB Group concept so please be patient as we work out the kinks.
That said, we think it is a terrific and easy way to share events already posted to Facebook and interact with like-minded Mile High Cheapskates.

I have a request: Would you PLEASE post on the website any great deals you see on the new Facebook page, so that those of us who do NOT Facebook won’t miss out? Doesn’t have to be a repeat/reposting of EVERYTHING there, but if you see some fantastic deals there, it would be really nice of you to share them on the website. I would really appreciate it and know others would, too. Thanks for adding another way to share deals, by the way! I just don’t want to lose out because I refuse to Facebook (don’t trust them on privacy issues).
Oh, and congrats on the Westword win!

Lynn — That’s the plan. If there’s something that shows up in the MHOTC Community site we will of course share it on the website. The new community is an easy way for all sorts of people to share smaller events that we might overlook otherwise. — Laura
