The popular store’s MakeBreak craft events offer a creative outlet for kids of all ages — an opportunity to make a fun seasonal craft to take home. Mark your calendar now, so you don’t miss out.

Michaels’ MakeBreak takes place on select Saturdays or Sundays with varying event times (usually in the early afternoon) throughout the year at participating locations. However, dates and times may vary by location.
The classes are intended for participants 13 years and older.
The in-store event is FREE. However, the purchase of one item is required for each event. Michaels supplies all of the other necessary art supplies at no cost. Please review the details of each class.
Participants must register for the class. Use the links below for each class to register. You can book classes under your Michaels account or as a guest.
Upon enrollment, receive an e-mail confirmation with class information. ’You will also receive a reminder e-mail within 24 hours of the event start time.
If you can’t make it, no cancellation is required.

October 18, 2025 – Saturday MakeBreak: Pumpkin Fest (Purchase of craft pumpkin required.)
October 26, 2025 – Sunday MakeBreak: Beaded Eyeball Plant (Purchase of clay pot required.)
November 2, 2025 – Sunday MakeBreak: Flower Ornament (Purchase of empty ornament required.)
November 16, 2025 – Sunday MakeBreak: Stamped Tote Bag (Purchase of blank tote bag required.)
December 7, 2025 – Sunday MakeBreak: Gnome Jars (Purchase of Mason Jar required.)
There are 24 locations in Colorado — Arvada, Aurora (2), Boulder, Brighton, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs (3), Denver, Englewood, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Greeley, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Parker, Sheridan, Superior, Thornton (2) and Westminster.
