Metropolitan Choral Festival Presents ‘To Shiver the Sky’ August 23

Metropolitan Choral Festival Choir & Orchestra presents the world premiere chamber orchestra arrangement of “To Shiver the Sky”, an oratorio by American composer Christopher Tin. The concert is Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mapleton Arts Center. Admission is FREE.

To Shiver the Sky is sung in multiple languages and beautifully captures the human spirit’s yearning to conquer the skies from the Earth to outer space.

A reception follows the performance.
