Movie Tavern Hosts 2026 Kids Movie Magic Series with Discounted Tickets & Concessions This Winter

Are the kids bored this winter? Marcus Theatres and Movie Taverns are helping families enjoy affordable fun this season with its 2026 Kids Movie Magic Series, running Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from January 9 to March 1, 2026 — with special Monday holiday screenings on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (January 19) and Presidents Day (February 16).

The series features eight family-friendly films, with a different title showing each week.

Admission is just $3 per movie at 76 Marcus Theatres and Movie Taverns throughout 17 states. Moviegoers can save 50% on admission (just $1.50 per movie) by purchasing a Kids Movie Magic Passport for $12, which allows the passport holder to attend all eight movies in the series.

Here in Colorado, there is only one participating location — Movie Tavern at 18605 E. Hampden Ave. in Aurora.

The Kids Movie Magic Series is part of Marcus Theatres’ ongoing commitment to keeping moviegoing affordable and accessible for families.

The movies play at 11:30 a.m. each day.

January 9 to 11: How to Train Your Dragon (2025)

January 16 to 19: A Minecraft Movie

January 23 to 25: Migration

January 30 to February 1: Minions: The Rise of Gru

February 6 to 8: The Land Before Time

February 13 to 16: Smurfs (2025)

February 20 to 22: Pets on a Train

February 27 to March 1: The Bad Guys 2

Food & Drink Specials

Families enjoy $3.50 sodas, $3.50 popcorn and $3 hot dogs, while attending Kids Dream Showings. Special sizing applies. The offers are valid for Kids Dream attendees for in-theatre purchases only.
