American Museum of Western Art Open for Free for The First Time in Over a Decade for Colorado Day. Reserve Timed Tickets Before They Are Gone

For the first time in over a decade the American Museum of Western Art is opening on a Saturday. In celebration of Colorado’s 150th Anniversary, AMWA will open on Saturday, August 1, 2026, offering FREE Self-Guided timed admission. It is highly recommended that you reserve a timed ticket here, as this event is expected to sell out. Galleries close at 4:30 pm. Last admission is at 4 pm.
