Colorado Blvd. Over the years though, the smaller-than-usual location has become a little rundown for shoppers. Plus, finding a parking spot in the awkward one-way parking lot has always been a challenge!

Well, shoppers have a reason to rejoice because King Soopers is opening a new 103,000-square-foot location nearby to replace the Belcaro store.
The new store is located at 4201 E. Arkansas Ave. in Denver.
The sheer size of the new store will definitely dwarf the old one. That means customers can expect a much more enjoyable shopping experience with lots of new amenities and bigger departments at the new location.
It’s sure to become the go-to location for many King Soopers shoppers!
The location is scheduled to open on June 3, 2026 at 9 a.m.

With the grand opening of the new Denver location, that means the days for the Belcaro store (825 S. Colorado Blvd.) are numbered. The location is scheduled to close June 2, 2026.
As of now, the closeout discount only applies to select non-grocery items. All other items are at the current sale or regular price. The discount is expected to increase next week with possibly more items on sale.

According to one of the employees, none of the product will be transferred to the new store. All of the current inventory will be sold or donated.
