King Soopers is making major changes in Denver! If you live or work near Glendale, you’re probably familiar with King Soopers’ Belcaro store at 825 S. Colorado Blvd. Over the years though, the smaller-than-usual location has become a little rundown for shoppers. Plus, finding a parking spot in the awkward one-way parking lot has always been a challenge!

Well, shoppers have a reason to rejoice because King Soopers is opening a new 103,000-square-foot location nearby to replace the Belcaro store. The new store is located at 4201 E. Arkansas Ave. in Denver.
The sheer size of the new store will definitely dwarf the old one. That means customers can expect a much more enjoyable shopping experience with lots of new amenities and bigger departments at the new location. It’s sure to become the go-to location for many King Soopers shoppers!
The location is scheduled to open on June 3, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Of course, loyal customers and bargain hunters are all wondering if King Soopers plans any grand opening celebration, giveaways or sales.

In the past, King Soopers has offered special giveaways and sales for the opening of a new store. However, no specifics have been announced as of yet for this new location.
