It’s almost that time again…back-to-school! Parents may be rejoicing and kids are probably groaning, but there are lots of boxes to tick before the school bell rings. One of the tasks parents may need to do is get their kid a haircut. (You have to be camera-ready for school pictures, right?) Frugal families may want to head to JC Penney Salon for a big cut of savings, thanks to the salon’s back-to-school offer.
From July 17 to September 15, students (K through 6th grade) can get a haircut for only $10, while appointments last. The discount requires this coupon. It’s not the best deal, as a kid’s haircut is regularly $14.
You might look to one of the other mass salon/haircut chains (Fantastic Sam’s, Great Clips or Supercuts) for better savings, especially in late August. Many of these locations also accept competitor’s coupons, just call ahead and ask.
