Locally-owned shop Heart and Home Decor and Much More not only sells home accessories, but sells the wares of more than 40 local artisans. The shop holds its first Super Saturday Event on Saturday, June 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You’ll find a food truck, free kids crafts, local chalk artist Benjamin Hummel, games, music and, of course, shopping.
Hummel is an amazing chalk artist. You can watch him draw a 3D cat fish in a fedora playing cards. This delightful fish, might even attempt to play cards with you. Hummel’s work is a preview of what the shop hopes will be a full-blown chalk art festival in August.
