The Cache la Poudre River is more than a source of drinking water. It’s an important habitat for wildlife, a recreational resource and part of Colorado’s heritage. The Poudre RiverFest brings it all together on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m. at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins.
At this FREE family-friendly festival, experience river-themed educational presentations, live music, exhibitor booths, interactive games, food trucks, tasty beer and door prizes.
At the Poudre River Experience you step into an immersive journey. The 30’ x 10’ tunnel allows you to learn about each section of the river from Headwaters to the Lower Watershed.
See the wildlife and habitat along the way, smell the scents of nature and hear the sounds of the outdoors. The Poudre River Experience will be open the entire day.
You can also learn about river restoration projects being led by local non-profits and sign up to volunteer.
