Popular Discount Grocer ALDI is Finally Coming to Colorado!

POSTED BY
Bryan

Known for its high-quality (and often viral) products and low prices, bargain hunters across the country are very familiar with popular discount grocer ALDI. Unfortunately, savvy shoppers in Colorado have been left out of all the excitement and savings — only being able to see the trends on social media and wishing there was a location here. Well, good news! Colorado will soon be home to the iconic grocer.

As ALDI enters its 50th year in the U.S., the low-price grocer is doubling down on its nationwide expansion, announcing plans to open more than 180 stores by the end of 2026, including entering Colorado for the first time.

ALDI plans to expand into Colorado within the next five years, with more than 50 locations planned for Denver and Colorado Springs markets — supported by an accompanying distribution center.

No other details have been announced yet, but MHOTC will definitely be on top of the latest news as its confirmed.

ALDI is known for its grand opening celebrations with a Golden Ticket giveaway, as well as FREE goodie bags and shopping totes!

What’s Different About ALDI?

At ALDI, the shopping experience is a little different because they display products inside their original shipping boxes as a means of keep their prices low.

Plus, more than 90% of the products in the grocery store are ALDI-exclusive brands — with many products becoming customer-favorites.

Every year, the grocer puts out a survey for customers to rate their favorite ALDI products. Look for the heart-shaped logo to find the winning goods at the same low prices.

ALDI offers low prices every single day. However, the savings get even better with ALDI Price Drops.

These extra low prices help customers save even more. Look for ALDI Price Drops throughout the store to really stretch your grocery budget.

Best of all, ALDI is known for its Twice as Nice Guarantee. If you don’t like an ALDI-exclusive product, bring it back and they will return your money and replace the product.

Finally, you can’t just grab a shopping cart at ALDI. You first need to insert a quarter to unlock a cart for use. And, when you’re done shopping, return the cart to the corral to get your quarter back.

The temporary 25-cent deposit helps keep the parking lots tidy.

The German-based grocery chain has more than 13,000 locations across Europe, the U.S., Australia, and China — with more than 2,600 in the U.S.
