There are so many ways to celebrate the historical Colorado Day on August 1 in our beautiful state. However, one of the best spots might be Colorado’s Home also known as the The Governor’s Residence. Coloradans are welcome to take a FREE public tour of the mansion during its summer Open House, Friday & Saturday, August 1 & 2, 2025.

You can visit Colorado’s Boettcher Mansion on 8th and Logan Street in Downtown Denver from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
The Governor’s Residence will be open for FREE tours. The guided tours highlight the architecture, legacy, and unique role of the Residence in our state’s history.
With expert docents and thoughtful storytelling, each tour offers a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages.
Entry is through the main gate on 8th Avenue.
