The Arapahoe Libraries annual used book sale, Friday to Sunday, September 18 to 20, 2026, at Koelbel Library is one of the largest such sales in the area, boasting thousands of books, media, collectibles and more, most priced at $5 or less. The sale is open to the public Friday & Saturday (9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Sunday from (noon to 4 p.m.).

Books are always a bargain.
The sale is indoors and outdoors at the library, with books organized by genre: fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, cookbooks, fantasy, mystery, romance, sci-fi and more.
Most items are priced between 50¢ and $5.
On Sunday, which is Bag Day, fill one of the library-provided bags for $12.
Want early access? An exclusive preview sale will be held on Thursday, September 17, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for members of The Friends of Arapahoe Libraries. Attendees can join online or at the door with a $30 annual donation ($15 for seniors and students).

Through book sales, the Friends of Arapahoe Libraries raise funds to support library programs and services like the annual Summer Reading Program.
The sale will be held at the Koelbel Library (5955 S. Holly St.), Centennial.
