The Arapahoe Libraries annual used book sale, Thursday to Sunday, September 11 to 14, 2025, at Koelbel Library is one of the largest such sales in the area, boasting thousands of books, media, collectibles and more, most priced at $5 or less. The sale is open to the public Thursday (9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.), Friday & Saturday (9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Sunday from (noon to 4 p.m.).

Books are always a bargain. Hardcover books are $4 and paperbacks $2.50 and under. Children’s hardcovers are $3 and paperbacks $1. Rare and collectible books are priced as marked.
On Sunday, which is Bag Day, fill one of the library-provided bags for $12.
Want early access? An exclusive preview sale will be held on Wednesday, September 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for members of The Friends of Arapahoe Libraries. Attendees can join online or at the door with a $30 annual donation ($15 for seniors and students).
Through book sales, the Friends of Arapahoe Libraries raise funds to support library programs and services like the annual Summer Reading Program.
The sale will be held at the Koelbel Library (5955 S. Holly St.), Centennial.
