Explore 60,000 square feet of outdoor adventure space including Adventure Forest for FREE at the Children Museum’s Joy Park at its Denver Marsico Campus. They’re keeping the exhibit open after hours from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (or sunset) on Fridays: May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15 & September 19, 2025, thanks to a collaboration with Denver Parks & Recreation.

Kids can rope swing over obstacles, conquer glass and log bridges, shoot down a 70 ft long slide and discover panoramic views of Denver 90 feet in the air from the tippy top lookout!
The Joy Park water features will be turned on, so the kiddos can have a splashing good time.
- Race boats down the river
- Relax in the Adirondack chairs and dip your toes in the stream
- See how high you can blast The Geyser in the air and try to outrun the falling water (or don’t!)
- Cool off in the spray of The Twisted Mister
(Note: Except for the restrooms, the inside of the Children’s Museum will be closed.)
