Only 124 of our National Parks charge you to get in, but the U.S. National Park Service is waiving entrance fees to all of its more than 400 parks, monuments and other sites throughout 2026. Time to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park, virtually in the metro Denver/Boulder area’s backyard. There’s definitely lots to explore and experience in nature!

September 17
October 27
November 11
NOTE: Beginning in 2026, FREE entrance on these days will be for U.S. citizens and residents only. Non-residents will pay the regular entrance fee, as well as any applicable fees.
