The Aurora Symphony Orchestra is taking its show on the road to Brighton for a FREE concert on Friday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. at The Armory Performing Arts Center. The program “It’s A Fiesta” celebrates the vibrant sounds of Latin American music. Discover the exciting rhythms of the many different cultures of Mexico, including Aztec, Roman Catholic, as well as mariachi music! Guest percussionist Kevin Keith joins the ASO for this spectacular event.
The program includes Partichela’s Jarabe Tapatío, Luis Diego Herra’s Concerto for Marimba and H. Owen Reed’s La Fiesta Mexicana. While the event is totally free, organizers do ask that your RSVP on their website. 2501 Dallas St., Aurora.
