Kick off the holidays with a Christmas classic. The Highlands Ranch-based Wesley Players Theatre Company presents four performances of A Christmas Carol, The Musical. A high-caliber cast, captivating story and exceptional music make this a joy for all ages. Performances will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, November 30, December 1 & 2, 2023, at 7 p.m., with a matinee on December 2 at 2 p.m.
Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island), breathe new life into the classic tale of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
A cast of 50 and a full pit orchestra will bring this story to life. The show is almost all music, so even the youngest will be held spell-bound during this 90-minute production. There will be one intermission.
The Wesley Players Theatre Company is an independent, community theatre group in residence at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church that brings together people of all ages and experience levels, from within the church and from the wider community, to perform drama productions and musicals.
Tickets can be purchased online for $15 each. Part of the proceeds support missions at St. Luke’s UMC.
