Spring has sprung and it’s time for The Urban Farm’s annual Spring Fling. On Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can explore all that the farm has to offer, as well as take part in an Easter Egg Hunt. Head over to the hen house and rabbit hutch to learn about the farm’s heritage breed chickens and rabbits.
Enjoy crafts, games and farm activities including making a paper plate chicken or bunny, feeding the hens, grooming a mini horse or playing pin the tail on a bunny (not the real ones!).
Make sure you bring a basket or bucket to collect eggs and treats hidden throughout the farm. The hunt will go from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with eggs continually hidden throughout the period.
Entry is $5 per person. Those under age two get in free.
