It’s Halloween and time for fall fun with the entire family. Castle Rock will celebrate all things not-so-spooky at Spooktacular 2026 on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Philip S. Miller Park. Family-friendly costumes are encouraged, but not required. Activities include games, prizes, food, and of course, candy. This FREE event is held outdoors, so remember to dress accordingly.

Follow the trick-or-treat trail for candy and treats, then brave the Millhouse Manor scavenger hunt and visit the bubble monster.
There’s plenty of creative fun, too: decorate a masterpiece at the Pumpkin Picasso station, make sand art with the mad scientist, try other craft stations or concoct your own witch’s brew at the spooky soda station.
Keep the Halloween fun going with face painting, then take advantage of seasonal photo opportunities throughout the event.
Still have energy to burn? Get the wiggles out with music and dancing or some quick kicks with Soccer Buddies.
All that Halloween fun can work up an appetite. Food trucks will be on-site with food and beverages available for purchase.
