First there was “First Fridays” where you can roam all sorts of art galleries and neighborhoods. Now comes “Final Fridays”, an after-hours opportunity to explore the Golden Triangle Creative District. Final Fridays are scheduled for June 28, July 26, August 30 and September 27 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Activities are FREE.
Each Final Friday has its own FREE and low-cost activities and entertainment such as live music, Happy Hour food & drink specials, artist receptions, walking tours and more. In short, it is a fun way to explore this vibrant, growing art-centric area.
Maps detailing Final Friday activities and locations are available the night of the event at the concierge table at the south end of Martin Plaza (at Acoma Street and 12th Avenue, near the cows sculpture).
Bounded by Speer Blvd, Colfax Ave. and Lincoln St., the Triangle is home to the State Capitol, Denver Art Museum, the Cell Museum, History Colorado, Clyfford Still Museum, Civic Center Park and the U.S. Mint.
