Southeast Denver is home to a huge summer festival. This year, South by Southeast (SxSE) is set for Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Bible Park. The FREE community festival will feature food trucks, beer garden, live music, vendors, kids activities, yard games, and much more. The Festival kicks off at 11 a.m. with a bike parade. Decorate your bike, scooter, stroller, wheelchair, etc. and join in a stroll around the new playground.
Entertainment Line-Up:
11 a.m. — Denver Municipal Band
12:20 p.m. — Mariachi Regional de Mexico
1:40 p.m. — Mile High Freedom Band
3 p.m. — Policulture
4:30 p.m. — Bourbonites
6 p.m. — Nico Martinez
Food trucks scheduled are: Pericos Tacos, Rocky Mountain Slices, Henry’s Hotdogs, Gyros Town, Chicken on a Stick, Peaceful Creations Ice Cream and Repicci’s Italian Ice.
The Beer Garden features Comrade Brewing Co. and Colorado Cider.
Enjoy activities such as giant cup pong and cornhole, as well as a bubble tower, playscapes and vendor booths.
If you are relying on GPS, use 7000 E. Yale Ave., the parking lot entrance. Note that parking is limited so if you can walk or bike, even better.
