If the kiddos need some FREE holiday magic head over to Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s (Thornton & Lone Tree) which runs November 5 through December 24, 2023. This is one of the best free events in town and the outdoor retailers continue the tradition of in-person visits with Santa, live elves, snowmen, reindeer and take-home craft kits.
Santa’s Wonderland hours vary by date.
Kids can get a FREE 4×6 photo taken with Santa, printed while customers wait, as well as a FREE custom digital video to share on social media.
Other photo packages are available for purchase and instant print in the store.

In addition, kids can mail their letter to Santa, receive free giveaways, enjoy games and bring home FREE holiday crafts.
These giveaway include:
- November 5 to 18, 2023: Wooden Ornaments
- November 19 to December 2, 2023: Christmas Countdown Chain
- December 3 to 24, 2023: Activity book with markers
Children will have an opportunity to write a letter to Santa and drop it in the mailbox at Santa’s Wonderland. If an email address is included, children will receive an email from Santa.
Families can also enjoy the amazing aquariums and wildlife displays found in every Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s store.
