The RINK at Belmar has opened for the season. The Lakewood shopping district has a large outdoor rink in the heart of the area. A number of holiday-themed events are planned for December 2022. Events typically require you to register and purchase tickets to skate. When costumed characters are at the event, visitors can hang with them off the ice for free. Pricing (includes skate rental) is $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and younger.

Disco Skate
Friday, December 2, 2022
5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Rink will be playing classic disco sounds, mixed with classic holiday tunes while you skate or just drink around the rink. The holiday bar will be open with drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks available), hot cocoa, and more.
Dress up in your favorite disco outfits to receive $1 off of your skate rental.
Registration required. Tickets are purchased at the door on the night of the event.
Skate and Santa
Sunday, December 4, 2022
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Your favorite “big guy”, Santa Claus himself will be at The RINK. Bring your camera. He’ll be near the rink in his special hideaway next door to Locust Cider.
Meeting with Santa is FREE. Please register (just so Santa will have enough treats).
If you want to skate, too, tickets to skate may be purchased at the booth at the rink.
Ugly Sweater Contest

5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Pull on your best ugly holiday sweater for a fun evening. Receive $1 off your skate rental when proudly showing off your sweater.
Seating around the rink to chill out and enjoy drinks from the Holiday Bar.
Registration is required. Tickets to skate are purchased at the RINK at Belmar on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Superhero Skate
