Pearl Street Arts Fest in Boulder

POSTED BY
Laura

art paletteBoulder’s Pearl Street Mall between 11th and 15th Streets becomes one large outdoor gallery during the annual Pearl Street Arts Fest. This juried show features more than 100 local and visiting artists (from 22 states), some of whom provide demonstrations even as they showcase their work. Admission is FREE. This year’s festival is Friday to Sunday, July 17 to 19, 2026.

The 2026 Arts Fest starts with a kick-off afternoon event on Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festival continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Artist booths can be found throughout the Pearl Street Mall, along 14th Street, and on the Boulder County Courthouse Lawn.

Artwork includes sculptures, woodworking, drawings, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, digital art, photography, mixed media and glass.

New this year, artists will be featured on the Boulder County Courthouse lawn, where hand-painted Adirondack-style chairs will also be displayed. The chairs will be up for auction on Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m. to Sunday, July 19, at 2 p.m., to raise funds for Downtown Boulder’s 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2027.

In addition to booths, Open Studios Mobile Art Lab will provide free creative instruction and inspiration for kids of all ages on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn (east side).

RestART Art Therapy will be on the lawn (west side) throughout the weekend with Community Wish Weaving, a collaborative art activity inviting attendees to write a hope, wish, prayer or personal intention on a strip of fabric and weave it into a shared community textile. This interactive art ritual fosters reflection, connection, and shared healing as individual wishes come together to form a unified community tapestry.

Bank of America is providing a color-by-number mural and coupon cards for cardboard robot puzzles, redeemable at local Bank of America financial centers.

Many downtown businesses join the festivities with special offers all weekend long.

Remember that City of Boulder Parking Garages at 10th & Walnut, 11th & Walnut, 15th & Pearl and 14th and Walnut are FREE on Saturday and Sunday, with parking meters FREE on Sunday.
