Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean the end of outdoor movies. In some ways, fall may offer the perfect weather for watching a movie under an evening sky with friends and family. There’s something special about the warmth and cool breezes of autumn — just bundled up in your favorite sweater or sweatshirt. Even better, pack a few extra blankets for more coziness and comfortability.
Enjoy Monday Night Movies on Edgewater Public Market’s grassy lawn — 5505 W. 20th Ave. in Edgewater.
Admission is FREE. The event runs from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The line-up includes:
There are three remaining films for the series.
September 19 – Beetlejuice
September 26 – Hocus Pocus
October 3 – Mean Girls
There are some guidelines to follow for everyone’s enjoyment:
Only food and drinks from Edgewater Public Market are allowed on the lawn.
The lawn is currently not covered under a liquor license. As a result, alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the lawn. However, attendees are welcome to enjoy adult beverages at any of the market’s open businesses before (or after) the film.
Blankets and pillows are welcome.
Don’t bring lawn chairs. If you absolutely must do so, you can only use them on the sidewalk or at the very back of the lawn.
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
All movies are weather dependent and may be canceled or rescheduled.
