Estes Park Arts & Crafts Show

POSTED BY
Laura

It’s been said the peaks touching the sky surrounding Estes Park have the uncanny ability to unlock creative genius. And for those who enjoy the energy of creating or displaying their inspirational work to those who take pride in collecting special pieces of eye candy or just admiring singular works of art, that genius is totally on display during the annual Estes Park Labor Day Arts & Crafts Show running Saturday to Monday, August 31 to September 2, 2024.

For more than four decades, nearly 100 artisans have gathered in Bond Park along U.S. 34 (Elkhorn Avenue) in the heart of downtown Estes Park.

Inside their tents handcrafted work is displayed for all to see during this show that traditionally marks the end of mountain summer days and the beginning of autumn revelry in this community at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

The show, sponsored by the Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary Club, is open on Saturday & Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is FREE.

A full spectrum of artistic endeavors – from metal sculpture to jewelry, photography, fiber art, ceramics and painting in all mediums are displayed around the perimeter of the park at the intersection of Elkhorn and MacGregor Avenues across from the Estes Park Town Hall.

This year, individual performing artists will present music from the center of the park to accompany the visual arts on display.

Parking Info

Parking in one of Estes Park’s outlying parking lots, or in the FREE multi-level parking garage at the intersection of US 34 and US 36 (Elkhorn and St. Vrain Avenues) is convenient, and highly recommended.

Easy access to the core downtown area is provided by free and frequent shuttles throughout the entire Estes Park area.

If you want to park closer to the action, note that nearly all spots dotting the business district are metered.
