Downtown Parker hopes to help everyone create holiday memories with a series of events called Hometown Holiday Experience. Starting Thanksgiving weekend, November 26 & 27, 2022, usher in the holidays with a stroll from O’Brien to Discovery Park and grab a selfie or a family picture by the Town tree, park lights, at Discovery Park or at one of the fun holiday décor attractions along the way!
While you stroll through downtown, enjoy the prerecorded holiday music playing through speakers. Activities will be spread out throughout the weekend both day and evenings.
From ice sculpture carvings along Mainstreet in the evenings to Santa’s elf, a toy soldier, a gingerbread man and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer strolling throughout downtown during the days.
Then, on Saturdays and Sundays through December 18, the Town of Parker will boast some fun décor around downtown for the holidays. Visit Candy Cane Lane at Discovery Park, Toyland on Mainstreet and Santa’s Workshop at O’Brien Park for a fun family selfie — it might even be a great addition to your family holiday cards.
The Town of Parker has also invited holiday walk around characters from Thanksgiving weekend to stick around on Saturdays and Sundays (from noon to 4 p.m.) through December 18.
