Say goodbye to 2022 and welcome in 2023 with one of three aerial displays that light up the night skies in Douglas County. Choose from 30-minute fireworks shows in either Castle Rock or Highlands Ranch or a 12-minute lighted drone show in Parker. All start at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
Castle Rock Fireworks
A 30-minute, high-flying fireworks display will occur at the Douglas County Fairgrounds’ James R. Sullivan Events Center. Limited parking will be available within the Fairgrounds. For your safety, please follow signage and stay out of restricted areas.
Highlands Ranch Fireworks
A 30-minute, high-flying fireworks display will launch from the Wildcat Reserve Park site, southeast of Rock Canyon High School.
For ultimate viewing, parking will be allowed along portions of McArthur Ranch Road and Griggs Road.
For safety reasons, parking will not be allowed along Monarch Boulevard. Please honor posted “No Parking” signs. Visit douglas.co.us/fireworks for specific parking details.
Parker Drone Show at EchoPark Stadium
Watch this lighted drone show from the parking lot or the stands inside EchoPark Stadium. The show will be broadcast from Double Angel Park, west of the stadium.
Seating inside the stadium will be on the east side, looking west. Doors open at 6 p.m., and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will have coffee, hot cocoa, and spiced cider available for purchase.
The show starts at 7 p.m. and will last about 12 minutes.
