Dance on Fire headlines Saturday night at 7 p.m.The Long Run wraps things up on Sunday starting at 2 p.m.

This year’s Best of the West Parade steps off on Saturday at 10 a.m. at 9th & Washington. The parade boasts more than 70 horses, plus collectible cars, creative floats, fire and emergency vehicles, and several local performing groups.

It lasts about an hour. Arrive early for the best viewing. Keep in mind that parking will be challenging and Washington Ave. will be closed for the parade.

The parade route will be the same as in years past. Here’s a map. There will be two parade announcers stationed on Washington at 10th Street and 13th Street to add to the viewing experience.
