In case you caught any of the 2021 Olympic climbing competitions and thought, “Maybe, I could do that?” now’s your chance. In partnership with The North Face, El Cap Movement is hosting Global Climbing Day at their Movement RiNo gym. The FREE event is Saturday, August 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to a free citizen’s competition open to all levels, participants can look forward to:
Free Intro to Bouldering classes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Novel climbing challenges and specialty boulder problems
One free guest pass for members to invite someone along
Special guest appearances by The North Face athletes, Nathaniel Coleman (Team USA Olympic climber) and Hilaree Nelson (world class ski mountaineer)
