Denver Recycles hosts a FREE Electronics Recycling Event at Blue Star Recyclers on Saturday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to noon. Appointments are required and are available on a first come, first served basis and are expected to fill quickly. This is a great way to great rid of your old stuff without charge. They will even take any size television.
Here’s what you need to know.
APPOINTMENT
Go here, click on “Register” and select your appointment time slot, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. NOTE: You only need to reserve one “ticket” when making an appointment. The drop-down box does not refer to the number of electronics you are bringing to the event.
Appointment availability is on a first come, first served basis and only a limited number of appointments are available for this event. Please arrive with your electronic items on July 11, during your scheduled time slot.
ITEMS ACCEPTED
Televisions (no size limit), monitors, CPUs, laptops, printers, scanners, faxes, keyboards, mice, coffee makers, vacuums.
Blenders, toasters, stereos, external hard drives & storage devices, cellular phones, telephones.
DVRs, VCRs, digital cameras, video recorders, MP3 players, video game consoles, wires, cables, microwaves.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED
Air conditioners, refrigerators, large appliances, humidifiers, smoke or carbon monoxide detectors.
Pressurized canisters, oil or gas devices, fluorescent bulbs, neon signs, car batteries, small button batteries or household batteries.
