Firehouse Subs: Get Empty 5-Gallon Pickle Bucket For $3

POSTED BY
Bryan

firemanPut this deal on your “bucket list”! Firehouse Subs has a red hot deal right in the middle of its shops. If you dine there regularly, you know each sub comes with a zesty pickle spear. And they sell lots (and lots) of subs, so that means they also go through lots (and lots) of pickles. All of those delicious pickles are shipped in large, red buckets to each location.

As a result, they have lots (and lots) of 5-gallon red pickle buckets (emblazoned with the Firehouse Subs logo.)

Rather than just throwing them away, the sub shop sells the empty pickle bucket for just $3 at participating locations — with proceeds going to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The 5-gallon container is made of sturdy plastic and comes with a lid.

They’re perfect for painting, household chores, storage or washing the car. If you’re really creative, they could be used as a trash can (probably for the garage or patio) or a not-so-fancy planter. The possibilities are endless.

You don’t even have to purchase a sub. You can just walk right in and buy as many buckets as you want. If they’re sold out, just go back in a few days and, given how many subs they sell every day, they’re sure to have more available for sale.
