The City of Thornton joins the flurry of fall festivals. On Saturday, October 1, 2022,
families can enjoy live entertainment, games, a craft bazaar and lots of fun activities at the Thornton Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is FREE. Festivities take place at Community Park located at the intersection of York St. and Thornton Pkwy.
For those early risers, there’s a Pancake Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and Fishing Derby at 8 a.m. — both with a nominal fee.
During the day, there’s First Responders Row, Harvest Fest Bazaar, Kids Korner, food court and beer garden.
On the Larkridge Main Stage
12 p.m. — Acousticators
2 p.m. — 17th Avenue Allstars
4 p.m. — HomeSlice
On the Cultural Stage
11 a.m. — Denver Indian Singers and Dancers
1 p.m. — Taiko Drumming with Toni & Lance
3 p.m. — Kalama Polynesian Dancers
There’s live action Mexican wrestling at Hugo’s Lucha Libre. Be amazed by the luchadores’ spectacular costumes and movements. A low-cost produce fair will be held for all to shop.
Fun activities for kids include inflatables, a bungee trampoline, face painting and a caricature artist. Many of the activities are free, however, some require a small charge.
Also, participate in fair games such as Pumpkin Bowling, Autumn Bingo, Hula Scarecrow Toss, Potato Sack Races, Corn Hole and more. Try your hand at these various activities for the chance to win fun prizes.
Claim your free pumpkin and spend some time decorating your gorgeous gourd with onsite supplies including stickers, paint and stencils.
