POSTED BY
Laura

Do you remember a time when the best of summer included the excitement, food and fun of your hometown County Fair and Rodeo? This year, recreate the good times at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo from July 26 to August 4, 2024, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock. (Monday & Tuesday, July 29 & 30 are filled with 4H-type events.)

More than 75 entries, including floats, bands, royalty and marchers fill the Fair Parade on Saturday, July 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Downtown Castle Rock. The Fair Parade, which originated in 1954 and has long since become a staple of the summer’s liveliest weekend.

Over 10 days, fairgoers can enjoy carnival rides, live music, car show, Old West Town, petting zoo, classic fair food and more.
