Thornton’s McAllister Park Center is site for the community’s Dia de los Muertos celebration (Day of the Dead) on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from noon to 5 p.m. The FREE event features an art market, face painting, a stilt walker, live Mariachi and Salsa music, youth dancers, food vendors and a Catrina costume contest with prizes.
Don’t forget to bring your ancestor picture for the ofrenda! This traditional altar is being designed by the Mexican Culture Center.
On the stage:

1 p.m. to 2 p.m. — Elisa Garcia Quartet
2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. — mariachi sangre mexicana
3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. — Fiesta Colorado Dancers
