The Original Denver Gem & Mineral Show is now at the Westin Westminster hotel from Friday, September 12 to Monday, September 15, 2024. Watch skilled lapidary artists cut gems and create beautiful polished stones. Talk with area rockhounds to learn about local field trips and collecting opportunities. Check out educational displays from several museums plus seldom-seen items from notable private collectors.
Plus, try your hand at panning for gold and see minerals from around the world, (and meteorites from around the solar system) ancient fossils, a fluorescent room with rocks that glow in the dark, jewelry, gems, and more.
This year’s greatly expanded show will include the Tent Village and the Marketplace Pavilion, focusing on larger exhibits and unique mineral treasures and fossils.
The DGMS is now part of the Hardrock Summit. Your FREE ticket will admit you to all exhibitions.
Show hours are Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
