The Center for Musical Arts is turning 25 and invites the community to a FREE birthday block party on Sunday, September 19, featuring the debut of the new, mobile tiny stage with a series of musical acts, food trucks, a silent disco and more. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., enjoy performances by Otis Taylor, The Gatos Band and Center jazz ensembles including Broadway Boomers and Mr. C’s jazz trio.
In addition, there will be a drum circle, kids activities and Eats & sweets and Bee’s Thai Kitchen food trucks on site.
The Center is a nonprofit community music school based in Lafayette, dedicated to “Music for all, for life!” 200 E. Baseline Rd., Lafayette.
