Make it a night of opera under the stars when Boulder Opera presents its always popular Opera in the Park on Saturday & Sunday, August 2 & 3, 2025, at the Boulder Bandshell. This year’s performance theme is “Bella Voce” and celebrates the grandeur of Italian opera and the brilliance of American classics through stunning arias, duets and ensembles.

Enjoy selections from Mozart, Verdi, Bernstein, and Gershwin, performed by Boulder Opera’s finest singers with a live orchestra.
From the soaring melodies of Don Giovanni and Rigoletto to the American elegance of Candide and Porgy and Bess, this program blends the best of Italian and American opera traditions into an unforgettable evening of music.
There will be a fenced beer garden and food trucks.
There are two performances: Saturday, August 2, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 3 at 4 p.m. Each lasts about 90 minutes.

Opera in the Park allows the Boulder community to experience opera in a unique, casual setting, while providing performance opportunities for local musicians.
