Denver Botanic Garden Fall Bulb & Plant Sale – Reservations Required

POSTED BY
Laura

Get a jump-start on your garden at the Denver Botanic Gardens’ annual Fall Plant and Bulb Sale for gorgeous blooms next spring. A large selection of bulbs and unique plants are available for your autumn planting pleasure. This year’s sale is set for Friday & Saturday, September 24 & 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Admission to the sale and to the Gardens is FREE.

Hundreds of bulbs, perennials and “Grown at the Gardens” plants are offered, along with expert advice from our horticulturists. Take home beautiful horticulturist-curated bulb bag designs and large custom seed mixes.

The sale is located under the tent at the UMB Bank Amphitheater.

Things to remember:

  • Arrive early for the best selection
  • Bring your own wagon, cart or bags to transport your bulbs and plants
  • Members receive 10 percent off all purchases

Fall-planted bulbs such as Dwarf Irises, Tulips, Daffodils, Alliums and Eremurus (foxtail lilies) acclimate in the ground during the winter to provide beautiful spring and summer bloom, often for years to come.

Planting perennials, shrubs, grasses, vines and trees in the fall gives them a head start on getting established, often leading to better garden performance the next year.

While admission is FREE, reservations are required. You’ll find more information here.

1007 York St., Denver, 720-865-3500.
