Energy Day is a FREE family festival showcasing exhibits focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Energy Day will feature exciting exhibits and interactive demonstrations that will teach students and their families about various forms of energy and how through STEM education, they can find an exciting career in the energy industry. The FREE event is Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at East High School.

Energy Day features interactive demonstrations and 35 interactive exhibits that introduce, teach, and showcase various forms of energy to students and their families.
Exhibits range from hands-on demonstrations where attendees can see how an energy process works to small and large scale installations that kids can observe.
This includes an energy-efficient house from Xcel Energy that features solar panels, recycled insulation products and high-efficiency heating and cooling. Occidental Petroleum will share an interactive sandbox that reveals how geologists use 3D landscapes to identify natural resources.
In addition, festival attendees can watch 40 robotics teams from across the region compete in the Kendrick Castillo Memorial Tournament.
East High School is at 1600 City Park Esplanade.
