It’s unfortunate, but the retail landscape keeps changing with yet another announcement of stores closing. This time, it’s Eddie Bauer on the chopping block. The popular outdoor clothing and gear store has announced that it will be closing all of its retail locations. However, they plan on maintaining and focusing on its online sales.

There are six Eddie Bauer locations in Colorado: Aspen Grove (Littleton), Colorado Mills (Lakewood), Outlets at Castle Rock, Outlets at Silverthorne, Park Meadows (Lone Tree) and The Shops at Centerra (Loveland).
NOTE: So far, we have only confirmed that the stores at Park Meadows, Aspen Grove and Colorado Mills are officially closing.
Colorado Mills is expected to shut its doors permanently on April 30, 2026. As of now (February 7, 2026), the closeout sale ranges from 40% to 60% off — depending on the category.
The closeout sale does not apply online — only in-store.
As always, the discount is expected to increase as the final day of business approaches. For bargain hunters, that means you will need to check in periodically for when the discount hits your target price — usually around 70% off for many.
The flip side is that the earlier you shop, the better the selection. If it’s something you really want and it’s within your budget, you probably should pick it up. Here today, gone tomorrow!
If you know that the other locations are closing, please comment below or send an e-mail to bryan@milehighonthecheap.com. We will update the post, as we confirm that other locations are officially closing.
