Meow! The Dumb Friends League invites people to celebrate their love of felines at its annual CatFest on Saturday, July 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Quebec Street Shelter (2080 S. Quebec St.) in Denver. “Purr-fect” for families, the event will highlight adoptable cats, including kittens. The festival features clicker-training demos, behavior advice from experts and a “Meow Market” with dozens of vendors selling food and cool cat-related merchandise. You’ll also find lots of games and activities for the kids, as well as fun photo opportunities and live music. If you happen to find a ball of feline fur that you want to take home, adoption fees are just $10 for an adult cat (1 year and older.)
